We utilize high powered Microsoft Windows Server 2008 clustered database servers with shared RAID storage to insure high availability of Microsoft SQL 2005 databases. This design allows us to manage and balance the flow of traffic to our servers, provide for a swift build out of additional hosting capacity, insure almost no downtime server and software maintenance, and perform automatic monitoring and fail over of server resources.
