MAHONING VALLEY AMATEUR RADIO ASSOCIATION MEETING DIRECTIONS

Our meetings are held on the SECOND THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH except for August when we have our Annual Family Picnic and December when we have out

Holiday Banquet.

Meetings are held at the PARK VISTA COMMUNITY ROOM at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Broadway just north of the YSU area.

Here are directions from various points of arrival

1)    Approaching on I-80 from the west (Akron, Ravenna etc) follow the signs to YOUNGSTOWN via I-680.  From I-680 take Exit 6B then quickly bear to the left marked

HUBBARD and follow the directions in #2 below at ****.

2)    Approaching from the east or south via I-680 (from Boardman, Poland, etc) get off I-680 at the HUBBARD EXIT. ****  Continue to the exit marked  �422 WEST, WARREN� which will put you on the MADISON FREEWAY.  Take the exit marked FIFTH AVENUE.  Turn RIGHT at the light at the top of the ramp onto FIFTH AVENUE and proceed north on Fifth.  You will pass Stambaugh Auditorium on the left.  The next traffic light will be at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway.  Turn LEFT at this light and pass between the two high rise buildings. The Community Room is on the ground floor of the building to your left as you pass between the buildings.  There is a large patrolled and well lit parking lot in the rear of these buildings. 

3)     Approaching from the east on I-80 (Sharon, Hubbard, etc) take Exit 228A and follow route 711 which is a left lane exit, stay in the left hand lane of route 711 for several miles and follow the signs to I-680 SOUTH.  Follow I-680 SOUTH to the Exit 6B and bear to the left to follow the HUBBARD sign then follow the directions in #2 above at ****.             

4)    Approaching from the south via Route 11 (Canfield, Salem, etc) exit Route 11 onto I-680 by following the YOUNGSTOWN signs.   From I-680 take Exit 6B, stay to the left and follow the  HUBBARD sign then  follow directions in #2 above at ****.

5)    Approaching from the north via Route 11 (Warren, Niles, etc) stay on route 11 as it turns into 711.  Stay on 711 until you see signs for I-680 SOUTH.  Follow those signs until you are on I-680 SOUTH.  Follow I-680 to Exit 6B, stay to the left and follow the HUBBARD signs then follow directions in #2 above at ****
